It's less than two weeks until the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) gets underway in Baku, Azerbaijan. Increased traffic at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD/UBBB) will see new flight planning and operational procedures introduced between November 5-20.

U.S. operators are facing major operational challenges in Europe, the result of a combination of airport congestion, adverse weather, airspace closures, and ATC strikes. Parking and slot issues have also become major concerns making planning and executing missions to the continent a growing headache for many operators. This is a major talking point at UAS booth 2820 at NBAABACE24 in Las Vegas this week.
