A recent decision by French authorities to close 13 of the country’s border crossing airports is causing concern amongst business aviation interests.

The move would see 13 currently designated international airports being limited to domestic traffic only.

The French EBAA say that the move would have serious implications for non-scheduled flight operations to and from the country.

They add that business at the smaller airports would also be significantly impacted as operators would have to use other less convenient entry airports.

The EBAA, FNAM, and GIPAG are currently petitioning the French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, to have the decision reconsidered.
